Self-drive suits you if you'd rather not wait on anyone. A day trip, a family function, a run of errands around town, or a longer drive out of the district. You take the car and bring it back when you're done.
People often take it to Kondagattu and Dharmapuri, out to Ramoji Film City for the day, or on a two-day trip to Hyderabad.
It's Rs. 800 for 12 hours and Rs. 1200 for 24 hours, and the price goes up in steps if you drive further. Keep the car longer and the price per day comes down, to Rs. 1000 a day from 15 days. The calculator below shows your price.

How much will your self-drive trip cost?

Who can rent, and what to bring
You must be at least 20 years old and hold a valid driving licence in your own name. Then two documents, and you're set. The Baleno is a manual, so be sure that suits you.

What the price includes, and what it doesn't
The price covers the car for the hours or days you booked, up to the distance in the tariff. It doesn't cover fuel, tolls, parking, or the driver's food if you add a driver.

Fuel, returns and what to check
Fuel, tolls and fines
We don't supply fuel, so you fill the tank yourself. As a guide, a Baleno does about 19 km to the litre, which is roughly Rs. 6 for every km. Tolls and parking are yours, and you're responsible for the car and for any traffic fines while it's with you.
Returning the car
The car comes back to Jagtial at the end of the rental. That also applies to airport trips: you can't leave a self-drive car at the airport, so it works for dropping off or picking up family and then bringing it back. See the airport guide.
Late returns and cancelling
If you'll be late or your plans change, tell us as early as you can. We explain the late return and cancellation terms on the call, before you book.
What to check when you collect it
- Walk around the car with us and look at any marks we point out.
- Note the fuel level and the meter reading.
- Check the lights, the wipers and the horn.
- Make sure you're comfortable with a manual gearbox.

Can I keep the car for a few weeks?
Yes. The price per day comes down until 15 days, then stays at Rs. 1000 a day. See car rental for visitors.
Can I take the car outstation?
Yes. Both self-drive and with-driver work for trips outside Jagtial. Mention your route when you book.
Who pays for fuel and tolls?
You do. We don't supply fuel, so you fill the tank yourself. Tolls and parking are yours too, and you are responsible for any traffic fines while the car is with you.
Where do I return the car?
In Jagtial, at the end of the rental. A self-drive car can't be left at the airport or anywhere else.
Is the Baleno a manual or an automatic?
A manual. Please make sure that suits you before you book.
What if I need the car for longer than planned?
Tell us as early as you can and we'll tell you whether the car is free. The price per day comes down the longer you keep it.
